Sexy Independence Cocktails

 

Still trying to come up with the purrfect Independence Day cocktail?

Try either one of these  sexy All- American Cocktails, The Curly and Turk from The Tippler in NYC or the Patriotic Punch from XIV Sessions in LA. Two aphrodisiacs that will get your 4th poppin'! These cocktails are also great for the rest of the summer. L'chaim!

 

The Curly and the Turk 
1.5 G'vine Gin
.75 blue curacao
.75 chili hibiscus syrup*
1 lemon
2 dashes Moroccan bitters

To make cocktail: pour chile-hibiscus syrup into the bottom of a tall glass, then fill 2/3 full with crushed ice. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add gin, curacao, bitters, and lemon juice. Shake.

Slowly strain gin and curacao mixture over the ice, so that it floats over syrup. Top with additional crushed ice and insert two tall straws directly in the middle of the glass to replicate popsicle sticks.

 

 

Patriotic Punch
2 oz grey goose cherry noir
1.5 oz watermelon purée
Shaken vigorously until frothy
Pour over ice, fill with soda
Garnish with watermelon chunk and sprig of fresh mint

Coconut Shrimp

Shrimp is a little crustacean known for being used to create sensual delicious delights.

The history of shrimp being an aphrodisiac goes back to Casanova who said that shrimp made him good to go for a around of love making. World famous courtesan, Madame Du Barry, served up shrimp in champagne sauce as her dish of seduction. No wonder I like Madame Du Barry so much, she was my kinda woman.

Coconut Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup artisan beer
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 24 shrimp
  • 3 cups oil for frying

 

Cookin’ Courtesan Style:

In medium bowl, combine egg, 1/2 cup flour, beer and baking powder. Place 1/4 cup flour and coconut in two separate bowls.

Hold shrimp by tail, and dredge in flour, make sure to shake off excess flour. Next dip in the egg/beer batter; allow excess to drip off. Now roll the shrimp in coconut, and place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Heat oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) in a deep-fryer.

Fry shrimp in batches: cook, turning once, for 2 to 3 minutes, or until golden brown. Using tongs, remove shrimp to paper towels to drain. The only thing left to do is serve the shrimp to your lover with your favorite side dishes or just feed him/her the shrimp in bed for a bit of delicious foreplay.

Chocolate and Pear Pudding

2 x 415g cans pear halves in juice

125g plain flour

25g cocoa powder

125g superfine sugar

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

 

Doin' It:

*Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6 and grease a 22cm square ovenproof dish with butter.

*Drain the pears and arrange them on the base of the dish.

* Put all the remaining ingredients in a food processor and blend until you have a batter with a soft dropping consistency.

*Spread the brown batter over the pears, and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

*Let stand out of the oven for 5 or 10 minutes and then cut into slabs - and serve with chocolate sauce.

Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs


There is something rather seductive about a deviled egg. Maybe the term “devil” just makes them a little naughty. I have a deviled egg recipe for you that is different and not the traditional way to make deviled eggs. One thing is for certain, they turn out delish! There are a few aphrodisiacs in the recipe including eggs, salmon, and tomatoes.

Eggs are a sign of fertility and new life. Tomatoes are known as the “love apple” red, juicy and scandalous. As for salmon, it is a great source of protein, making it great for your stamina. It also has omega 3′s, proven to elevate serotonin levels in the brain which enhances your sex mood.

A yummy recipe with great natural aphrodisiacs is a winning combination.

Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

12 eggs

10 cherry tomatoes, halved and seeded

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 (6 ounce) can skinless, boneless salmon, drained and flaked

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard

1 1/2 tablespoons sour cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon grated lemon peel, or to taste

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Sea salt and pepper to taste

smoked paprika for garnish

Doin’ It:

Place the eggs into a saucepan in a single layer and fill with water to cover the eggs by 1 inch. Cover the saucepan and bring the water to a boil over high heat. Remove from the heat and let the eggs stand in the hot water for 15 minutes. Drain. Cool the eggs under cold running water. Peel once cold. Halve the eggs lengthwise and scoop the yolks into a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork.

Place the tomatoes, cut sides down, onto a paper towel to drain.

Mash the cream cheese with a spoon in a bowl until smooth and workable; stir in the egg yolks, salmon, mayonnaise, brown mustard, sour cream, lemon juice, lemon peel, and 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika until well combined. Season with sea salt and pepper.

Spoon the salmon mixture into the egg halves and cherry tomato halves. Sprinkle with additional smoked paprika for garnish and arrange on a platter. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.

Black Olive Tapenade

I love a good olive tapenade, especially a black olive one. Black olives are known for increasing a woman’s sex drive (green olives do this for men) so eat them on up! You know how we modern courtesans roll!

What I love about this tapenade is the addition of the cognac, talk about adding a nice punch to the flavor. It is quick and easy to make so you can make this anytime. But after you eat, you just might be very aroused.

Black Olive Tapenade:

150g Pitted black olives
4 Tbs Olive oil
1 Tbs Cognac
1 Clove of garlic

Keep the fluid from the black olives then put all of the ingredients in a food processor: olive oil, cognac, garlic add 3 tablespoons of the olive oil fluid then process thoroughly to a pulp. If necessary add a little more of the fluid, and just like that you are done. Spread on crackers, bread, or whatever makes you happy!
