Rose Petal Lychee Bellini

Oh, yes stumbled upon one of the sexiest recipes ever that is one a modern courtesan should have in her arsenal. This recipe is a classic one from the swanky, Thom Bar in NYC, one of my favorite spots which is luscious life approved.

What makes this drink exotic and erotic is the rooibos tea and rose petal esscence. How can you go wrong with this combination? Sensual and best of all good for you.

Make this for when you are ready to seduce the pants (or skirt) off someone.  Go get 'em!

Rose Petal Lychee Bellini

Ingredients:

1.5 oz lychee puree
1.5 oz rooibos tea
2 drops of rose petal esscence
3 oz of Heidsieck champagne

Doin' It:
Brew a 10 oz pot of rooibos tea for about 4 minutes Allow the tea to cool for about 10-15 minutes. Once they tea has cooled add 1.5 oz to a mixing glass. Add 2 drops of rose petal essence. Add 1.5 oz of lychee puree. Gently stir the ingredients and add to a champagne flute. Top off with 3 oz of champagne or dry sparkling wine. Garnish with a single rose petal or orchid.

You cannot use champagne and call this a Bellini. Bellini's where invented at Harry's Bar in Venice and are made exclusively with prosecco. FYI the original Bellini is made with fresh white peaches and Prosecco. Anyway this drink sounds amazing and I will try it with Prosecco, thanks.
